Recently Charlie has become a good sleeper.
I know.
Amazing right?
After 2 years of sleepless nights, with me learning to cope on 4 or 5 hours sleep a night, he finally sleeps. All night and for a nice chunk of time during the day too.

Sleeping to the point where he doesn't wish to wake up.
Noooo.... I want to sleeeep.

I was having lovely sweet baby dreams, I don't want to wake up.
See, I'm sleeping.
Oh, alright. I'll wake up. But I won't be happy.
That's just asking too much.
I'll just roll around in my cot, being grumpy.
But being grumpy isn't as fun as I thought.
Maybe we can play peek-a-boo instead?
That's more like it! Hehehe.
Come on, Mama, it's time to get up now.
One can't just laze around all day.
Hurry up, get me out of here.
I've got things to do, places to be, people to charm.
I am more shocked he doesn't just climb right out of that cot. I gave up with our two before they were two years old as they were always climbing out.......

Thankfully he hasn't yet realised he can climb out! We plan to change him into a bed very soon, were just waiting for the excitement of Christmas to be over first.
ReplyDeleteNrither of mine ever climbed out, but both were done with their cribs by 2 and 2 1/2....
